The granddaughter of the legendary designer Elsa Schiaperalli, discovered by Vogue’s legendary editor Diana Vreeland, Marisa Berenson was one of the highest payed models in the world. She has worked with the greatest photographers such as Penn, Avedon, Bailey, Beaton, Newton, Hiro, Sokolski, and lately Meisel… She was also painted and filmed by Andy Warhol. She has inspired most of the famous designers from Yves Saint Laurent, Emanuel Ungaro, Valentino, Loris Azzaro to Azzedine AlaÏa, Donna Karan, John Galliano and Tom Ford. Dubbed “the “it girl” of the 70” by Yves Saint Laurent.
Marisa has appeared on the covers of countless prestigious magazines, including Vogue, Harpers’s, Bazaar, ELLE, Time, Newsweek. Elle magazine declared her “the most beautiful girl in the world”.
